Eaton Township Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026, at 7:00pm, at Eaton Township Hall, 12043 S. Avon Belden Rd. Grafton, OH. The purpose of this hearing is to consider an Area Variance for the property parcel 11-00-056-000-003 - located at S. Avon Belden Rd. at Royalton Rd. The property is owned by Kamm's Corner Realty Limited Partnership and is represented by Ellen Selle, authorized agent. The property is owned by EBC EATON LLC. The applicant is Redwood Apartment Neighborhoods.

There will be a meeting to review the results of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan survey received by registered voters of Eaton township. The interested public is invited to attend. The meeting will be held at North Eaton Christan Church at 35895 Royalton Rd Grafton, OH 44044. The first session will be 2:00pm-4:00pm and the second session will be 6:00pm-8:00pm. Eaton Township Compost Site (Residents Only) will open Saturday, March 28, from 7 am to 1 pm. Only unbagged yard waste (branches, brush, leaves, and grass clippings) is acceptable.

Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township Spring time clean up is one week prior to palm Sunday. (March 22nd 2026). Please have grave sites cleaned of all wanted items, before clean up, any questions please contact the cemetery sexton Adam Wilson at 440-748-2236.

The leaf truck has been out of service since the end of November, and repairs and parts have been delayed, and this is unfortunately out of the Townships' control. When we have more information on when the truck will be repaired and how we will go forward with leaf pick up, we will pass along that information. Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for any inconveniences.

Eaton Township Spring Dumpster Day is Saturday, May 2, from 8 a.m.-2 pm, for residents only. Use the Rte. 83 entrance @ the Town Hall. You may bring furniture, appliances, metal objects, and trash. Do not bring garbage, commercial waste, tires, TVs, computers, electronic waste, construction/demolition debris, or household hazardous waste (oil, paints, etc).

Eaton Township is accepting application for the Railroad Quiet Zone Committee volunteers. Applications can be found on our website at eatontownship.org or you can pick up an application at townhall located at 12043 Avon Belden Rd Grafton OH 44044.
